Day 1

Arrive today into Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA). Unique Safaris Meet & greet team will be waiting and transfer you to Arusha for dinner and your overnight accommodation at The Country Inn & Resort (MCI).

Day 2

After an early breakfast, while leaving The Country Inn at 7:00 am; you will have a chance to see different antelopes and both Mount Kilimanjaro & Meru (Depending on the weather). You will drive for approximately 3.5 hours to Manyara National Park, arrive at 10 am for a full game drive in the park. Manyara is quite small; however, a home to five different habitats – groundwater forest, escarpment, open woodlands, open grassland and marshland.

The park is well known for the tree climbing lions, the famous Lake Manyara which is 125 square miles (Shallow Alkaline Lake – which attracts flamingos) and the Great Rift Valley. The Park itself has a variety of over 300 bird species and a good number of different species of monkeys. Later arrive at the Lodge at 6:00 pm for dinner and overnight in Karatu.

Leave Bougainvillea by 7:00 am with picnic lunch, drive around the rim of the Crater to the central parts of the Serengeti (approximately 5 hours). Check in at the main Naabi Hill park gate by 11am, game drive through the Simba Kopjes and drive your way through the Seronera river valley to arrive late evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Leave by 6:00 am after breakfast and continue on to the central Serengeti were you’ll explore this vast area viewing the Lake Magadi, the Moru Kopjes where is the perfect location for spotting Rhinos.

You will enjoy your early game drive for 6 hours before heading back for an afternoon hot lunch at 12 pm. You will have a few hours to rest before heading out for a late afternoon game drive at 4pm (we advise a resting period due to heat, tsetse flies and unresponsive animal activity).

Day 5

Depart at 6:00am for a full day game drive; during this day you will explore the Retima Hippo pool, where there are over 150 hippopotamus gathered in one pool, get a chance to visit other Kopjes – the Maasai, Sametu and Research Kopjes where big cats like lions and leopards can be spotted. Head further towards the endless plains also known as the Maasai Siringeti, where it is the natural habitat for cheetahs.

Enjoy an early breakfast, depart at 6:00am and head to the southern parts of the Serengeti.

You will enjoy your early game en route to your next accommodation location, arriving for an afternoon hot lunch at 12 pm. You will have a few hours to rest before heading out for a late afternoon game drive.

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a full day with picnic lunch, departing at 6am.

During this time of the year, the southern location is best for the Migration (being the Calving season), the general wildlife and the beautiful green scenery of Ndutu.

Enjoy a last full day of game viewing in the southern parts of the park.

Day 9

Enjoy an early breakfast, depart at 6:00am and head to the Ngorongoro Crater.

During your drive to the conservation you will have the opportunity to visit the Olduvai Gorge, this is a famous archeological site where a profound history of human evolution was which was discovered by Dr. Leakey (3 million years ago). Enjoy picnic lunches and a lecture.

Drive at the late afternoon and head to the Lodge for check in, dinner and your overnight stay.

Early rise, depart at 6:00am and drive down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full day game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest volcanic caldera and the eighth wonder of the world; it is a home for Rhinos, Hyenas and elephants with long tusks.

Day 11

Leave Ngorongoro at 8:00 am after breakfast, experience one last early morning game drive as you drive back to Arusha. Continue to the Country Inn for your day room use; later enjoy a farewell dinner before heading to Kilimanjaro Airport your international flight.
